Who we work with.

We support families of children who:

  • Have visible or invisible disabilities

  • Have additional learning, behavioural or wellbeing needs

  • Are struggling with engagement or inclusion

  • Are not receiving adequate support despite raising concerns

You don’t need to be in crisis to seek advocacy support. Many parents simply want clarity, reassurance and guidance.

Advocacy grounded in experience.

SupportEd Advocacy was founded by Katherine Nixon, a qualified primary teacher with over 15 years’ experience across NSW and WA, and a Master of Special Education.

As a parent of a child with a disability, Katherine understands firsthand how complex and isolating the advocacy journey can be. This combination of professional expertise and lived experience shapes every aspect of SupportEd Advocacy.
