SupportEd Advocacy provides education advocacy and support services for parents and carers of children with disabilities and additional needs. Services may include consultation, preparation, meeting support, guidance and advocacy within educational settings.

SupportEd Advocacy does not provide legal advice, medical advice or therapeutic services.

Scope of advocacy

Advocacy services are advisory and supportive in nature. While SupportEd Advocacy works to support families to understand their options and advocate effectively, decisions regarding education remain the responsibility of families and education providers.

Outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Engagement and communication

SupportEd Advocacy aims to communicate respectfully, professionally and collaboratively with families, schools and other stakeholders. We ask that communication with SupportEd Advocacy is also respectful and constructive.

Fees and cancellations

Fees, session lengths and cancellation terms will be outlined at the time of booking or engagement. Where possible, notice is appreciated for cancellations or changes.

Limitation of responsibility

SupportEd Advocacy is not responsible for decisions made by schools, education systems or other third parties. Advocacy support does not replace school decision-making processes or legal representation.
